VPSI Awarded Task Order for Security Certification and Accreditation and Cross Domain Solutions for METOC Programs Vector Planning & Services, Inc. (VPSI) was awarded a task order to support Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and provide Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) for the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance/Information Operations Program Office and PEO C4I and Space. The task order is for one year with two option years. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command awarded it on behalf of the PEO C4I & Space through SPAWAR’s Major Services Acquisition Engineering, Logistics, Installation, Testing & Evaluation (MSA-ELITE) contracting vehicle. The scope of VPSI support will include providing Information Assurance requirements determination, risk management and vulnerability assessment, engineering expertise and test and evaluation in relation to security C&A and CDS for Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) systems. These systems are designed to provide end-to-end critical environmental information and knowledge to define the battle space for tactical, operational, and strategic decisions. “This new, competitive three-year award is indicative of SPAWAR’s satisfaction with the quality of our support to these significant security engineering programs. The single-award task order to support the METOC systems represents new business for VPSI and provides us with an opportunity to further expand our engineering services and solutions to the Navy,” said VADM (USN, ret) Paul Ilg, VPSI Executive Vice President.
