VPSI Awarded Contract to Support Test Engineering for the CANES Early Adopters Program

The SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC-PAC) has selected VPSI to provide Integration Testing for the Program Executive Office Early Adopters (EA) Program for the computer network consolidation and reductions.  This initiative serves as a stepping stone to provide critical risk consolidation and reduction efforts for the Consolidated Afloat Network & Enterprise Services (CANES) Program.  VPSI is assisting the SSC-PAC to prepare for the first stages of testing.  The CANES Program will enable the reduction and/or elimination of multiple stand-alone networks to reduce the shipboard footprint, as well as provide substantial savings for overall afloat costs. “VPSI services to SPAWAR on this initiative will keep us on the “leading edge and in the forefront of the Navy’s technology advancements,” says Paul Ilg, VADM USN (ret), VPSI President.
