VPSI Awarded Follow-on Contract to Provide Certification and Accreditation Services to the Naval Satellite Operations Center

SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC-PAC) has awarded a follow-on contract to VPSI to provide Certification and Accreditation (C&A) support services.  The C&A work will take place onboard a Transportable Operation Center (TOC) Vehicle Area Network (VAN). The TOC VAN was developed by SSC-PAC and deployed to the Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC) Headquarters at Point Mugu, California for operation.  The primary use of the TOC VAN will be to provide Extremely High Frequency and Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TTC) capabilities at NAVSOC Headquarters.  The secondary role of the TOC VAN will be TTC of the Ultra High Frequency Follow-on Satellite Constellation.  “We are proud to support NAVSOC in providing more flexible, secure communications to the Warfighter,” says Paul Ilg, VADM USN (ret), VPSI President.
