Requirements:
|
- Develop web applications in JSP, Liferay, Jira, Hibernate, Postgres, HTML. Javascript and CSS
- Provide real hands-on experience in the application design, hosting and configuration using Java and J2EE technologies
- Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems and DoD architectures
- Ensure compliance with Secure Technical Implementation Guides
- Provide applications administration assistance when required to establish and configure software development and testing environments
- Interpret high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of the enterprise architecture
- Identify, assesses, and presents option for meeting the functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades
- Develop software design documents and technology white papers
- Develop high level system design diagrams and for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
- Instruct, direct, and check the work of other systems development personnel

Skills:
|
- Programming experience in industry-standard technologies like Java
- Experience with Linux RedHat and VMWare vSphere
- Experience in systems administration and in enterprise architecture.
- Experience with the DoD applications environments including architecture, design, installation, configuration, security capacity planning, and disaster recovery

Education:
|
- Bachelors Degree preferably in Computer Science, Math or Engineering plus a minimum of 3 years of experience developing Java/ J2EE based web applications
|
