Instruct students in the manner described in the course textbooks and materials. Conduct practical exercises in a classroom/laboratory environment. Provide supervision of student study hall periods and provide tutoring/remedial instructions (mentoring) outside the eight (8) hour contact day in accordance with the Director of Training mandated schedule for mandatory study hall. Provide oral and written reports as required. Adapt instructional methods based on analysis of individual student and group needs. Use role-playing techniques and performance based exercises to reinforce learning objectivesJob Knowledge, Skills, Education and/or CertificationsRequirementsRequires a minimum of two (2) years instructing information technology related topics within the last 4 years.Must have, or have the ability to obtain, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certification; or be a Certified USN Instructor/NEC 9502 or Navy Master Training Specialist Designation or Other Service Instructor/Trainer Certification or CompTIA Certified Technical TrainerMust have, or be able to obtain, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or applicable technical certification for all technical classes that they will teach.
