VPSI Announces New Organization and Leadership TeamOriginally Posted On February 18, 2014
VPSI has completed a corporate reorganization and established a new Executive and Management Team to support the company as it moves into 2014. The changes and additions capitalize on the VPSI’s solid foundation as a well established, responsible small business and the holder of contracts focused on Information Technology, Information Assurance, Systems Engineering, and Program Management for the Federal Government.
Paul Ilg, Chairman and CEO. Mr. Ilg, previously serving as the President of VPSI, assumed the positions of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Operating from VPSI’s corporate offices in San Diego, Mr. Ilg leads the company’s management, organization and business process operations improvement initiative as well as directing VPSI’s business development goals. He has been a business executive for several defense industry businesses after retiring from the Navy as a distinguished aviator and leader.
Kieran Boylan, CFO. Mr. Boylan was named as the director of VPSI’s Shared Services and as the Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the implementation of improved finance, accounting, and contracting programs within VPSI. Under his leadership, VPSI has integrated a new accounting system, participated in advance training and instruction, and established fully Federal Acquisition Regulation compliant policies and processes. Mr. Boylan joined VPSI with extensive experience in corporate financial management of major contract programs, and as an Adjunct Professor teaching accounting and business curriculum.
Chad Sumpter, General Manager National Capital Region. Mr. Sumpter manages all VPSI operations in the National Capital Region. Operating from VPSI office in McLean, Virginia, he is focused on supporting Information Assurance and cyber programs, across a customer base including the Department of Defense, Department of Education, and several Intelligence agencies. Mr. Sumpter is a recognized subject matter expert within the Information Assurance community with a proven history supporting various Agencies, Services, and Commands.February 18, 2014
Dwayne Green, General Manager Southeast Region. Mr. Green, operating from VPSI’s office in the New Orleans, Louisiana area, manages VPSI’s Southeast business to include Navy programs in Charleston, South Carolina and the Center for Information Dominance in Pensacola, Florida. As a recognized data center operations subject matter expert, he leads VPSI’s Data Center Consolidation efforts. Mr. Green has an extensive industry and government background managing Department of Defense Information Technology programs.
Tony Nufer, General Manager Southwest Region. Mr. Nufer manages VPSI’s Navy programs providing systems engineering for communications satellites, Information Technology, and command level financial management services. Operating from the San Diego office, he also has several corporate responsibilities as the Chief Operating Officer and Ethics and Compliance Officer. Mr. Nufer‘s background includes a Navy career, business management, and opportunity development in the defense industry.
VPSI’s reorganized Leadership Team is serving the corporation as it increases its contract portfolio and transitions new and developed capabilities to an expanding customer base while managing the newly developed Corporate Responsibility Program
