SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific has selected Vector Planning & Services, Inc. for award of a Cyberspace Science, Research, Engineering and Technology Integration Small Business Multiple Award Contract. VPSI, with teammates American Systems Corporation, San Diego State University Research Foundation, and Secure Mission Solutions-A Parsons Company, will address architecture, engineering, functionality, interface, and interoperability of Cyberspace Operations systems, services and capabilities including enabling technologies. The contract will permit VPSI to compete to perform these services within a limited group of small businesses for a three year base period with an option for an additional two years.
VPSI’s CEO Paul Ilg, VADM USN (Ret), stated the award is a culmination of over a year of planning and introduction to SSC Pacific of a select and unique team meeting the broad requirements of the challenges in cyberspace, while capitalizing on the specialized capabilities of each member. VPSI is proud to lead a team of professionals with the demanding technical and engineering expertise necessary to protect our nation’s national defense and our warfighters from an expanding cyber threat.
This recent award is an illustration of VPSI’s commitment to excellence, and taking the necessary steps to adapt to a changing threat vector.
